Jimeoin Hegney (Instructor - Jujitsu)
I started my martial arts training when I was quite young in Rhee Taekwondo. My parents needed a way for me to get some excercise and burn off some eneergy. However, they also started noticing a big improvement in my confidence and self esteem after only a short while.
Though I enjoyed my martial arts, I needed to give it up in order to keep up with school work and it was several years before I found my way back to martial arts.
I started Jiujutsu at the age of 18 as some of my friends were doing it and it seemed "cool" at the time. Now, I think back on that as one of the greatest decisions I have made.
Fast forward 6 years and I have been granted my Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in JuJitsu and am now enjoying teaching other students, while training to advance myself to Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt).
