Dr. Matthew Sawyer is an accomplished Endocrinologist, graduating with First Class Honours from Monash University’s Victorian College of Pharmacy before pursuing post-graduate medicine at Deakin University. He completed specialist physician training at Monash Health, Eastern Health, and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. Dr. Sawyer specialises in all aspects of endocrinology, including diabetes, weight management, osteoporosis, hormonal issues, pregnancy-related endocrine disorders, lipid disorders, thyroid conditions, parathyroid disorders, pituitary disorders, and adrenal diseases. He welcomes referrals across these areas to provide expert care and support.

Dr Gowri Somarajah

Endocrinologist and Physician (dual trained)
MBBS, FRACP

Dr. Gowri Somarajah is a consultant Endocrinologist and Specialist Physician. She completed dual training in Endocrinology and General Medicine at Austin Health and a diabetes fellowship in Monash Health. This gives her the opportunity to maintain ongoing work in clinical, research and educational aspects in her field. Gowri continues to consults at The Northern Hospital, in acute medicine. She also works privately as a weight loss specialist and consultant endocrinologist. Gowri is focused on providing holistic care which comes easily to her through her ability to establish good rapport and connections with her clients. Gowri welcomes referrals in all aspects of endocrinology including her specialty areas of bariatric

Kanaga Lagma is a Chronic Disease Nurse Practitioner and Diabetes Educator with a passion for helping people manage their diabetes. She brings a wealth of experience to the clinic, having worked for the past 18 years in diverse healthcare settings including Acute and Primary Health Care Settings and possessing a strong understanding of Chronic Health Conditions and diabetes management.

Wendy Yeung

Accredited Practicing Dietitian (ADP)
Wendy Yeung is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia and holds additional qualifications in health coaching. With over five years of experience in both community settings and private practice, Wendy is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for her patients. Her philosophy focuses on adopting a diet that not only supports your health goals but is also sustainable. Her specialty lies in Chronic Disease Management - including diabetes and renal disease, gastrointestinal disorders, hypothalamic amenorrhoea, management of eating disorders and disordered eating behaviours. Wendy is also fluent in Mandarin and simple Cantonese.
Monika Musk

Monika Musk

Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)
Monika is an experienced Exercise Physiologist who has worked in the industry for over 15 years. She holds degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology as well as a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology. Her areas of interest lie in weight and health management, cardiac rehabilitation, osteoporosis, falls prevention, mental health, autonomic dysfunction and hypermobility spectrum disorders (POTS, Chronic fatigue Syndrome, EDS). Combined with her experience in Exercise Physiology, Monika's additional training in Psychology and work in research at ACU give her the perfect skillset to provide an empathetic yet thorough approach.
